Acupuncture is a holistic-alternative Chinese medicine with a history dating back thousands of years. It has proven to be an effective treatment for a wide range of emotional, mental and physical conditions: promote healing, regulate the body, calm stress and anxiety and pain management.
Holly C. Ward, L.Ac., is a licensed Acupuncturist trained under Traditional Chinese Medicine , which looks at the body as a whole, and provides customized treatments for individuals to help them reach optimum wellness. She graduated in 2014 from the Master's level acupuncture program at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine. She brings to our office years of extensive study, as well as over 500 hours of clinical experience. With a compassion to help others, she explains treatments and listens to all concerns allowing for the best outcomes for those she treats.
Dr. Laux began acupuncture in 2008 with a chiropractic acupuncture certification, which is now a Diplomate from the American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncture. He has loved seeing the benefit this treatment option has been to his patients over the years. He has an additional world certification in auriculotherapy (ear acupuncture) from John Hopkins. Auriculotherapy uses ear points correlating with the body and functionality to promote healing and wellness. There are many uses and treatment potentials with this. For treatment, there are small needles that go in the ear at specific points, and are like a tiny ear piercing. They stay in the ear to promote a more lasting healing effect.
